This week’s show is about the change in attitude in Australia over the last 30 years towards street kids, how we capture their stories, and we share a touching moment between a priest and his dog —>

More photos of a priest and his dog here.
We’re also asking for your help. You have skills we don’t have. If you want to make use of those skills to help Bob and I re-invent social capitalism in Australia, send Cam an email and tell him what skills you have to offer. This week we’re asking for someone with stencil art skills to make us up a template which can be printed out and spray painted on the walls of Australia.
If you want to show your support for The Father Bob Show, don’t forget to VOTE and, more importantly, donate $1 a week to The Father Bob Maguire Foundation by throwing a buck in his PayPal account.

Hey Dudes,

Thanks for the nice mention Bob. The priest at my church definitely wasn’t saying that we would burn in Hell. He seems to be in a similar mold as Fr Bob.

Hey guys, I’ve had no problems downloading the shows. I haven’t been scared off by the “ninja” thing. Sorry I haven’t left a message for a while guys, I’ve been busy with work of late. Great show again, keep them coming. I think we should design a Father Bob shirt & sell it to raise money for the Father Bob Foundation. I think the sms idea of donating is great too. But once you have set up PayPal it’s just as easy. Cheers, Nathan.

nathan, don’t be afraid about cameron’s and my raving about ninjas.i’m simply trying to think outloud about how to describe an australia wide volunteer virtual collective of street workers without borders.i’ve already got about 30 really and truly physically present street workers WITH borders in vic.,nsw,act.that group is trademarked OpenFamily.each worker costs about $80k to support in the field!there must be a way those trained and supported workers can be used as nomadic resource files for the volunteer virtuals just thinking out loud!bobmaguire.the new national/global group could be trademarked OpenFamilyOnline.

I know & I’m happy to be a nomadic referral file or a ninja. Have you came up with anyone I can contact in Toowoomba if I see someone who needs help? Great to hear there is some progress with triple j. Hopefully we can get more people donating $1 a week. How is the PayPal account going? Is it growing or is there only a few people donating? Keep up the great work guys. Cheers, Nathan.

Hey Father Bob,
I’ve been casually following along with the podcasts, downloading them here and there.
I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that you have a fan here in Toronto, Ontario.
Keep up the good work,
Dan
