The Father Bob Show #44 – The Christmas Edition

Bob discusses his latest blog post about embryonic stem cells. I couldn’t comment as I hadn’t read it. He adds to his message “Do no harm but a little bit of good if you can” with “Don’t think of it as us, but we”, using some examples of recent cases in the media. Are we getting to pious in this podcast? Let us know.

We read out Christmas messages for Bob from the listeners. For alternative Christmas gifts check out the thread on the ninja forum: http://forum.thepodcastnetwork.com/viewforum.php?f=4

Check out Bob’s article in the Sunday Age this week (and possibly the Sydney Morning Herald). Keep an eye out for a TV program featuring Bob on Christmas eve or day… Bob has no idea!

Bob analyses in depth the differences between various types of sugarless, normal, and excessively boozy Christmas fruit cakes. He thanks Jesus for “Lost” coming back on TV in February, and doubts my claims about the legality of listening to music through earphones in various modes of transport.

For those who would like to come to Bob’s Christmas service, carols, african drums, carols, jewish horn call to prayer, carols, and muslim call to prayer, carols, and Aboriginal didgeridoo at 7pm. Mass is at 8pm. Sts Peter and Paul corner Dorcas and Montague Sts South Melbourne, sunday evening, all welcome - even rich plastered twenty-somethings.

Music used is “Deck The Halls with We Wish You A Merry Christmas” played by Doug Boldt. Courtesy of the PodShow podsafe music network http://music.podshow.com.
