The Father Bob Show #54 - Motu Proprio
Today Bob and I discuss the book “Acting on Conscience” by Frank Brennan, after I finally finished reading it! We have the listener question of the week, the latin word of the week (no prizes for guessing what that is), and listen to Bob eating his lunch. Bon appetite!

Loved your show today Bob! I agree with the lady who wrote you about her beliefs in Catholicism. I, too, wondered about Catholicism being just paganism masquerading as a new religion (Christianity) while simply rehashing pagan ideas.
I have come to really fall in love with Catholicism as I have come to believe it as a new chapter in the story of mankind. :)
Your unique insights into religion are really a breath of fresh air to me and here in America, there is none like you, so you are my ‘go to guy’, ha ha.
Thanks for the answer to the question Bob. Thanks for the autograph too, I have no intention of selling it either, ha ha.
An idea you could do with the Skype is invite guests on the show who are great distances away and interview them and edit the interview into the show. Just a thought. :)

On organ donation, I think it should be an opt-out system not an opt-in system. So instead of putting on your license you want to be an organ donor, you have to put on your license that you don’t want to be an organ donor.

Both good points, I agree Molly, and have thought that for some time.
Eddie, I would love to do Skypecasts like that, but am going to start small until I have the technology perfected! I know how to do it in theory, but our last attempt went arse up!
Cheers, Michaela.

Hi Michaela
This would be terrific if we could see you. There is lots of cheap technology out there that you can use or at least try, trial. if you want to know more I am happy to help, if I can.
Great sermon today Fr Bob. I left my bucket behind today, you were right on the money as they say.
Cheers

Mac Healy? You’re not the Mac Healy who I worked with a Pamacorp in the early 90s?
