The Father Bob Show #56 - Nude Chocolate Jesus

download the show

Today, just for a change, Bob is “worn out” and “fed up”. We talk Holy Week and Easter, especially preparatory confessions, and whether people are removed from sin. Don’t forget the fundraiser on Wednesday night if you are in Melbourne, see www.fatherbob.com.au for more details. We debate the merit and possible problems with pursuing “Bob’s Billboard” and of cosmetic surgery. Don’t forget the nude chocolate Jesus, the upcoming FMBF MySpace account, and Bob’s Easter message.

Great show folks. Some more notice of the Riva gig would have been good your Grace. I could have promoted it more broadly and even attended myself.

Re the stats - just checked, we’ve about 5000 - 5500 “unique visitors” a month listening to the show.

Re donations - you should put the donation code into the blog post each week Mickey. Save people going looking for it.

    cheers

Thanks Cam. The Riva brochure was up on the fatherbob.com.au website for about 1 week. I thought of doubling it up on this blog, but figured most interested parties would check there or even have a subscription to that blog. Maybe I am wrong?

Stats - most excellent, much better than I thought. By donation code do you mean say go to his blog page?

    Cheers,
The even bigger atheist - looking forward to my pagan bunnies and eggs this weekend, O Gods of Fertility

Hey Bob - thanks for reassuring my ego. Your description of ‘Igor’ at ten years old is probably kinder than I deserve. :-)

Would you agree that confession plus repentance is a pre-requisite for forgiveness and absolution? This would seem to be the standard Christian line.
