I could have equally answered "a Paul Keating type". In the end he was standing up for reconciliation and a republic, the capacity to trust ourselves as a nation and to beware the punishers and straighteners. Micheala, if you want to get a contemporary snapshot of Keating, you can do no better than listen to his 3 minute interview on The World Today (ABC radio, last Tues, 1 May) where he nails the IR issues in about 2 sentences with all the style for which he is famous. Physical albums are terrible. I also have my digital photo album running as the screen saver on the big TV in the living room, so there is a constant slide show of the family there which is nice. Regarding Jodie and Stephanie, I wonder how we connect with kids that age and let them know that they aren't alone. That many of us feel depressed, hopeless and suicidal at various times in our lives but that it passes (kind of) and you can still find purpose. I look at photos only on my PC!
