The Father Bob Show #79 - No Fatwahs
Today we discuss some future video content, Bob’s warming up to the Twitter idea, we catch up with quite a bit of listener feedback, Tony Blair’s conversion to Catholicism, the Catechism, Nathan Abott’s spirituality, and Bob’s responses lead him to be thankful that the Catholic Church doesn’t do Fatwahs! ABC 774 Melbourne’s “Day of Love”, and some kind of info database. When I find the website I’ll link to it.
See what good things you can do with little effort this Christmas at http://www.givingweek.com.au

Bob encourages you to check out the Sunday Night Safran podcast from Triple J
Do you know of any company or individual who would like to sponsor the foundation for $7500 per year?

made a mistake on that book tip, I didn’t write the correct title.
The Transmigration of Timothy Archer (not Archibold) by Philip K. Dick. Father Bob, read it and say how/if you liked it or I’ll put a copy in the mail for you.

The street reports in your email blogs are great. Keep them coming.
They give a stark view of what you’re doing in the other real world outside the safe “bubble” TV world most people live in.
They also remind me that maybe my life isn’t so bad. There are many other poor bastards out there who are far worse off.
There but for the grace of god goes me!

Bob, because I am busy I just listened to this podcast. It sometimes takes me days to get to listening. You sound discouraged because you are not receiving much feedback. You have to have faith that there are many people listening. Because you were concerned I decided to send this note.
Michela (excuse spelling) the Wiki is a good idea. Be patient and it will grow and catch on. You sound like you have high expectations, as you should, just don’t become discouraged in the short term. Ask Bob how much success he had in his first year with christian service. It takes time to catch on and build.
