The Father Bob Show #97 - Ne’er the twain shall meet
Today in a regrettably shorter show we note the sad passing of Maureen Johnson, and note the remarkable differences in action between Catholics who are so similar in their religion. Also a walkathon and the winter sleep out is being undertaken by a local Catholic’s boy’s school to raise money for the FBMF, Bob is the voice of the World Youth Day audio tour courtesy of Cameron Reilly, the police-involved shooting in South Melbourne. Thanks to Jacinta and Lachlan who are organsing “Art for a Cause” to be held in October in the Galillee School Hall next to the Sts Peter and Paul Church in South Melbourne as a fundraiser for the FBMF. Should churches be locked to protect them from vandalism, or thrown open to the public as an urban sanctuary? We go over some listener feedback and thank Chris Summerfield from WA for his ongoing enthusiasm.
